Bronwyn’s Library Blog

About

Who is Bronwyn of Bronwyn’s Library Blog?

Well I think I’ve always been a librarian.  Who else arranges their dolls in alphabetical order?  (Athough I suspect I wa playing “school” at the time!)  Libraries are always home to me – either a home away from home or as a workplace.

I’ve worked in public libraries, a special library, a university ibrary and a school ibrary … as a librarian, an “aide”, a technician.  I’m professionally quaified as a librarian (and an Associate o ALIA), but happy to work in any position.  The current one suits the school hours of my children – well it did until now that they are moving on to the next phase of their lives.

And as I decrease my hours at work outside home, I think it was to create my own library that I set up the Pivotal Network.  You can visit the home page at http://www.consultpivotal.com.   There are pages relating to libraries beginning at http://www.consultpivotal.com/libraries.htm and you will find library quotes at http://www.consultpivotal.com/lib_quotes.htm

There are also pages relating to books and reading starting at http://www.pivotalbookclub.com

See you there!

Oh and you can aso follow me on Twitter at  http://twitter.com/bronwynr

  1. Hi Bronwyn, I have so enjoyed looking through your site and particularly learning about the Kidz Book Club in Australia. Thanks for posting that.

I am an Australian author and I run a blog called Kids Book Review http://kids-book-review.blogspot.com/. I would be absolutely delighted if you could share it with your readers. I am keen to feature the work of new artists, illustrators and amateurs, including children. I also seek children and adults to review books.

One day, I hope the site will become a great resource for schools and book lovers.

    Wishing you continued success!
